A new initiative of the Arts and Humanities department at Lincoln Land Community College, the LLCC Press was formed to “encourage, review, provide guidance and support for quality academic publications that benefit the college, its students and employees, and the community at large.” The Press plans to produce and promote a wide range of publications that further the college’s goal of excellence in teaching and learning.
The first publication of the LLCC Press is Lincoln Land Review, a collection of visual and written work by students of LLCC, which combines and reinvents the former student writing publications The Harvester and The Ruptured Seed. The LLCC Review includes the best of student-produced essays, poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction and artworks from the past year. Student readings from the Lincoln Land Review are to be held in the fall.
