Peggy and John Knoepfle visit Professor Deborah Brothers’ Introduction to Poetry course on March 25, 2010, at Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, Illinois. The couple has been married more than fifty years, and as they read from published and unpublished works, they also discuss their writing processes and individual writerly visions, and they talk about their relationship—notably, how Peggy’s years of political peace and justice activism have influenced John’s writing.
